The debut album by “howtokope.”, “Magnolia,” tells of solidarity, summer days, and the spirit of a young generation, somewhere between lightheartedness and melancholy.
What started as the name of the band has grown into a mindset that shapes “howtokope.” and the way they approach music and the people around them.
At the centre of howtokope. is the idea of finding ways to cope with life through music, shared experiences and human connection.
Somewhere between the need to withdraw and the feeling of being together, this idea finds its way into their music. Bass and drums provide the foundation, layered with groovy psychedelia, atmospheric textures and dreamy vocals.

With influences from alt-pop, shoegaze & jazz, “Yet My Mind Is Still Blurry” forms a coherent collection of six brand new songs, telling a story about growing up, escaping the troubles of the present and coping with life as young adults.
With “Yet My Mind Is Still Blurry”, the Hamburg based band “howtokope.” is releasing their new EP, one year after the release of their debut album “Magnolia” in July 2025.
